WOWZERS!!

I guess my week of walking, exercising and shopping wasn’t too bad after all. I am down another 4 lbs this week for a whopping total of 19 lbs!! Whew….I am even more motivated to continue on with my diet and stay away from the fries. :)~ I have joined a newbie challenge started by ones of buddies, April. If you would like to join, just go into the forum under weight loss challenge and look for Newbie weight loss. There we are!I also joined a challenge to lose 10 lbs by Easter. That has been started by Julie. The more the merrier with that one as well. We can all use the support!One thing I am learning from my buddies is that planning is key. I knew I was going out alot this week and although I made decent choices, they could have been better had I planned ahead and brought good things to eat. I am not saying I won’t mess up in the future,but at least I am looking into what causes me to mess up. I can hold myself accountable since ignorance is no longer bliss..lol

Weigh in at Curves

I actually had my weigh in on Tuesday but I have been so busy I haven’t had the chance to sit down & tell you guys about it. Well I said a sigh of relief knowing that my scale has been accurate….I have indeed lost 15 lbs by their scale and 5 inches total…I also went down 2 points on my BMI and lost 2% body fat. All good news…

My eating hasn’t been totally wonderful this week. We were out of town every single day. We did the stop & grab at McDonalds. I did eat a grilled chicken sandwich on wheat with lettuce & tomato, but I ate some fries Mon, Tues. and today. I am hoping with as much exercising as I do that it kinda counteracts that, but we will see.

On top of the regular business of being a stay at home mom, homeschooling a 12 yr old & 16 yr old PLUS babysitting my niece, who by the way is well into being terrible two,yet not even 2 yet..lol…this week 2 members of my household have been struck by the flu. YIKES! I am just making sure hands get washed, noses get blown and medicine is taken because I really don’t want to get sick. *knock on wood* I haven’t been sick in awhile. And we all know MOMS CANNOT GET SICK! My house would just fall apart. No thank you!

15 lbs lighter and smiling! The only mistake I made this week was taking a cheat day yesterday instead of waiting after my weigh in this morning. But thats ok. I learned a valuable lesson…I thought I couldnt have a cheat day because of what happened to me previously. I was wrong! I proved to myself that I can do it and then get back to healthy eating the next day. I had a good day yesterday with my family..ate some of my favorites things without going overboard and today I started off my day with a healthy breakfast! :)  My weight loss this week was 1 lb and that got me to my first mini goal of losing 15 lbs! I am very happy about my progress.

This was a tough week for me. I had some chocolate cravings,which I did my best to ignore. I bought some sugar free chocolate pudding.

As far as workouts….my daughter & I went to Curves all 5 days. Too bad they aren’t open on the weekend. But we decided to skip one day on the weekend and then find something for us to do the other day.
