The goods & bads of a 3 day weekend
Well it was good because one of my brothers, his wife and 3 children came over…my mom & stepdad came over too. So we did our usual hangin out..swimming…walking. I always have fun with them. Saturday night we watched the UFC fights. Lots of yellin at the TV..lol
The bads….wooo ok..I live in Texas. We are a VERY southern family. We know how to eat!! So naturally we smoked a brisket, made potato salad and baked beans. We had 2 kinds of chips & dip AND ice cream w/brownies. HA..so bad! I ate a little of everything. I didn’t feel full afterwards,so I think I did ok.
I got on the scale for my weigh in Sunday and I lost a lb. I am sure it was more before Saturday’s funfest,but I enjoyed myself and I didn’t overindulge in any one thing. I tried my best to only dabble in each.
But I did get on more exercise than usual. I walked 14 miles in 3 days and went swimming more than once a day!
I still have 3 more hours of a 12 hr shift to go. Yipee Have a good one all
