Wednesday news

I went to the doctor yesterday. He increased my thyroid medicine again. It seems like a constant back & forth to the doctor. When he increases my meds, they will work for about a week….its a heavenly week though. I have energy out the wahzoo. I can SLEEP! So now I am having to bring my meds to work since he has me taking 2 doses a day.  I hope this all evens out soon.

Having hypothyroidism feels like being on a running wheel..you know like a hamster..

I eat healthy…exercise…and my meds go out of whack,so I gain weight & lose hair. BLAH! But I have an excellent doctor and within the next month my meds should level out. Then all my efforts will show some good progress.

In other news…

I am doing really well with my eating & exercise. I have been walking for my walking challenge & I started using my Buns of Steel tape. My booty & legs are so sore. lol But I know alot of it is because I havent done much beyond walking. :)

My daughter also had a doctor’s appt yesterday. Everything is good and she still has her ultrasound this Friday. Yes she had one at the hospital but the doctor wants to do his own since it was scheduled a month ago.

So I guess thats it for now…HAVE A GREAT DAY!

I know exactly how you feel… I’m hypothyroid too… been taking meds for it over 6 years now. It took a good year before my dose was finally correct… then with weight losses and gains it would have to be adjusted. But at least I can stay awake during the day! :) Keep up with your meds and tests and you’ll be feeling better consistantly in no time. ;)

Ihope that your meds get all figured out soon, so you can quiet worrying about them. I am glad too that your daughter is doing well. Is she going to find out what it is?

I have hypothyroidism too. I am taking synthroid 50 mg and I go thru all kinds of crazy side effects and problems because of this stupid illness!!! I go Friday for a check up to see if the meds are finally at the right dose.

Do you ever get panicky when they up your dose? I get really jittery and I usually lose about 5 pounds which I do like when they up my dose.
